THE TRUMP CONNECTION
For 15 years Trump and Epstein were very good friends ( 1, 2). One of Epstein’s girlfriends reported that they were best friends ( 3 ). Epstein told his biographer that he and Donald trump were best friends ( 7 ). More photos continue appearing showing their long friendship. (4). For some years it was a practice to send young girls from Mar A Lago to Epstein ( 5 ). Even though trump denied flying on Epstein’s plane his name was in the flight logs. And recently it has been discovered that he was on Epstein’s plane more than was recently known ( 6 ).
THE FILES
The attorney general Pam Bondi has famously said that she has the Epstein files on her desk ( 8 ). But this became a big problem because trump and the Republican party leadership did not want the files released. Now the public is aware that there are many more Epstein files (9). Dan Bongino , who has made a career talking about govt coverups is now the assistant director of the FBI. He is now in conflict with Pam bondi the Attorney General ( 12 ). Now the Democrats are pushing for the full release of the Epstein files ( 12,13 ). One of the most surprising revelations is that there is a large money trail from Epstein ( 13 ). Trump has been in denial about the Epstein files. One response was that the Epstein files were a hoax made up by Obama ( 14 ). It has been reported that less than 1% of the Epstein filed have been released by January 2026. ( 15 )
THE COVERUP
Most Americans have become aware that Trump and the republican leadership in congress have engaged in a coverup of the Epstein files. This coverup involves not only trump but also the attorney general and the DOJ, the FBI, the majority of Republicans in Congress and some members of the news media.
There are many govt lawyers reviewing the Epstein files. The stated purpose is to redact information about the victims ( 15 ). However, there is a lot of concern about the names of trump and others involved that are being redacted also (16,16b, 17,18). One case has been identified where specific co conspirators names have been redacted in the Epstein files (19). Its now believed that the Epstein file redactions are not only to protect trump but also to protect important Republican donors ( 20 ) .
Republicans in congress made a significant attempt to block the release of the Epstein files (21). The republicans in the rules committee of the house of representatives voted to block the release of the Epstein files (22,23). After Adelita Grijalva was elected to the house of representatives in a special election Mike Johnson , The speaker of the House representatives refused to swear in her to office ( 24). By doing that he was able to prevent the democrats in the House of representative from having enough votes to force the release of the Epstein files. The State of Arizona sued Johnson for the delay of swearing in Adelita Grijalva (25). House Speaker Johnson has been called out for covering up for pedophiles (26). After Grijalva was sworn in as a member of the house of Representatives on November 12,2025 then House speaker Johnson agreed that there would be a vote on the bill proposed by Thomas Massie. The public pressure to release the Epstein files became overwhelming. By the time of the vote on the Epstein transparency Act the republican obstruction collapsed. Every Republican in congress except one voted to release the Epstein files ( 27 )
THE EPSTEIN MURDER
Jeffrey Epstein was not a sympathetic character. He was a twice convicted child molester. However there have been a number of questions about his death. Epstein claimed that a cellmate tried to kill him 18 days before his death ( 28,29 ). Epstein's death was reported as a suicide ( 30 ). There have been many questions about his death (31). He was taken off suicide watch ( 32). The cameras directly facing his cell were not working ( 33,34 ). Guards were apparently sleeping and faked the status reports about their regular checkups ( 35 ).
And there were a number of questions about his physical condition. There was no way to tie anything to the ceiling. It appeared that he tied a bed sheet around his neck and while kneeling he leaned away from the bed. He was found with multiple bones broken in his neck (36 ). His injuries appear more consistent with strangulation than hanging ( 37).
Epstein’s brother doesn’t believe that Epstein died from suicide ( 38). He said that Epstein was ready to name the names of people that could be prosecuted (39). On one occasion Mark Epstein said that Jeffrey Epstein told him that he had dirt on Trump ( 40). Mark Epstein believes that there is evidence that will prove that his brother was murdered ( 41 )
THE UNIFYING ISSUE
Modern American politics has been characterized by extreme polarization. Much more than in the past history American politics includes people on both the far right and the far left. But the importance of making the Epstein files available to the public in one issue that has majority agreement across the political spectrum. Trump has said that the Epstein Files is a Democratic hoax. But there is very significant pushback from the far right (42,43) . Well known MAGA supporters are speaking out about the lack of transparency about the Epstein files ( 44,45) . The Georgia member of congress know as the Jewish space ;laser lady is leaving congress over this issue (46,47). The QANON shaman that that was arrested for attacking the capital and pardoned by trump is criticizing trump on this issue (48). The Oath Keepers founder that attacked that capital and was pardoned by Trump is also criticizing trump on this issue ( 49). Even Steve Bannon is worried that this issue will lose a lot of votes ( 50,51) . This is one issue that has united Americans (52).
